Greg Lentz

Chief Executive Officer

Greg Lentz, WESTconsin Credit Union’s CEO, has been working at the credit union since 1974. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Greg is very active with community groups and outreach including Menomonie’s Rotary Club. Additionally, he is a volunteer board member on the Community Foundation of Dunn County and on the Dunn County Economic Development Board. For personal enjoyment, Greg likes gardening, antique collecting, woodworking and most importantly, spending time with his grandchildren.

Jay Fahl

Chief Marketing Officer

Jay Fahl began working at WESTconsin Credit Union in 1989. He possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in General Business Administration from University of Wisconsin-Stout. Jay serves on the School District of the Menomonie Area Board of Education as Vice President, Free Clinic of the Menomonie Area board, Menomonie High School Business & Marketing Education Advisory Committee, and DECA district and state Career Development Conferences as judge and awards session announcer. Many listen to Jay on radio play-by-play for local sporting events. In his free time, Jay enjoys supporting his children’s activities, traveling, and downhill skiing.

Leo Schindler

Chief Lending Officer

Leo Schindler has been with WESTconsin Credit Union since 1978. He possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from University of Wisconsin-Stout and is active with the local Rotary Club. Additionally, Leo serves as board treasurer for the Tainter Menomin Lake Improvement Association, on the Dunn County Veterans Memorial Project Committee for Main Street Menomonie, and is involved with both the American Legion and VFW. For enjoyment, he likes boating, kayaking, gardening, bicycling, woodworking and traveling.

Lora Benrud

Chief Financial Officer

Lora Benrud began working at WESTconsin Credit Union in 1984. Lora has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Mount Senario College and a Master of Science degree in Management Technology from University of Wisconsin-Stout. She presently serves on the boards for Stepping Stones of Dunn County and the Western Wisconsin Chapter of the American Red Cross. Lora enjoys sporting and outdoor activities, traveling, and reading.

 

Jim Wookey

Chief Operations Officer

Jim Wookey has been an employee of WESTconsin Credit Union since 1994. He obtained his education from the University of Iowa with an emphasis in Business Administration. Jim’s involvements include the Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce, the Hudson Hot Air Affair Committee, Hudson’s Sunrise Lion’s Club, the Stand-By-Me mentoring program and many other community efforts. In his personal time, Jim enjoys golfing, reading and spending quality time with his family.

 

Mike Tomasek 

Chief Information Officer

Mike Tomasek joined WESTconsin’s Corporate Team in January 2013. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from DeVry University in Addison, Illinois, and has earned multiple certifications in the industry from multiple vendors. Mike regularly volunteers at St. Joes Elementary School where he assists staff with their IT needs. His hobbies include studying IT security, learning to play piano, reading, cooking and music.


Niki Yarrington

Chief Talent Officerer

Niki Yarrington joined WESTconsin’s Corporate Team in November 2012, and has been working at the credit union since 2003. Niki possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and has a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. She serves on the Junior Achievement of Wisconsin - Northwest District Board of Directors and is active with Cub Scouts. In her free time, Niki enjoys traveling, camping and family activities.
