Bruce and Sharon Elliott
Bruce and Sharon Elliott love to travel, and, with retirement
approaching, decided to hit the road with a Sprinter RV. WESTconsin
Credit Union helped them finance the purchase, a bit pricier than most
recreational vehicles because of a Mercedes engine, and they were ready for a
trip out east.
It turned out that a reliable engine was exactly what they needed―they had to
alter their itinerary and leave New Jersey a bit earlier than planned, just
hours ahead of Hurricane Sandy. They made it home safe and sound.
The Elliotts also bought a house in Hudson with the help of Pennie Peterson at
WESTconsin Realty. “It was a ‘short sale,’” Sharon recalled. “Bruce was
getting nervous because the banks involved on the other side of the transaction
were so unpredictable, but Pennie sat us down and explained everything to us, and
eased Bruce’s mind.”
The end result was a successful transaction and a happy home for the Elliotts and
their dogs.
