WESTconsin Scholarships

WESTconsin Credit Union is once again awarding scholarships to its members and their children! For the past 10 years, WESTconsin has been proud to help students achieve their educational dreams.

Our goal is to award up to 19 scholarships of $1,000 each to one graduating high school senior and one member continuing his or her higher education in each WESTconsin office community area. Applicants of their parents or legal guardians must have been a WESTconsin member since April 1, 2008 or earlier (current WESTconsin staff, directors and scholarship committee members and their immediate families are not eligible).

Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4-point scale, and selection criteria may include, but are not limited to: financial need, GPA/class rank, extra-curricular and community involvement, career plans and goals, and other scholarships awarded. Scholarships will be awarded to a recipient a maximum of one time in each category.

Applications and instructions are also available at your local WESTconsin office and many area schools. The deadline to apply is the close of business on Friday, February 13, 2009. Recipients will be selected by our Scholarship Selection Committee in April.
