WESTconsin has educational resources, tools, and topics for members and community members of all ages who are in any stage of life.

$MART Start - Youth and Teens

  • Banzai!: Interactive, online financial literacy for students of all ages. Learn about budgeting, paying for college, different checking account options, and so much more!
  • Budget or Bust: Hands-on board game made by WESTconsin for students to play, built around real life money management and budgeting.
  • High School Credit Union Offices: Fully operational, on-site credit unions in Menomonie, Baldwin-Woodville, Amery, and New Richmond High Schools.
  • WESTconsin Credit Union Scholarship Program: $1,000 scholarships for graduating high school seniors within WESTconsin’s service area to help pay for higher education.

$MART Living - Young Adults Through Retirees

  • GreenPath Financial Counseling: Free money management services available for WESTconsin members.
  • Banzai!: Online financial literacy for adults in any stage of life, all for free. Read articles or go through courses on buying a home, saving for retirement, welcoming a new child, and so much more!
  • Financial Calculators: Personal finance calculators including checkbook balancer, debt consolidation, and several types of loans.
  • Financial Coaching: There is a Financial Coach available to meet with members, for no cost, at each WESTconsin office. Coaches can help members learn new money management skills, get their finances back on track, consider retirement options, and everything in between.
  • Seminars, presentations, projects by WESTconsin staff on real estate, credit, investing, college funding, budgeting and more.
