You have 10-days after the due date to make your payment before a late charge is assessed.

The minimum repayment amount is $50.00, but may be more depending on the loan amount.

Repayment of principal and interest on each loan will begin six months after the student ceases to be enrolled at least half-time. The six-month period between the in-school and repayment period is called a grace period. If the immediate repayment of principal and interest is selected there is no grace period available.

Yes, you will receive a monthly statement from University Accounting Service (UAS), who is the servicer of your student loan. Payments can also be made online at: https://www.uasconnect.com/.

1. Visit our website WESTconsincu.org and click on the Community tab then to the Scholarship Program page. Once on this page use the link on the top banner side to go to the application program, AwardSpring. You will need to create an account, this is different from your membership account information and is NOT linked/tied to your WESTconsin Credit Union account in any way.
2. Applications, including letters of recommendation, are due no later than March 1 at 11:59 p.m.
   IMPORTANT: Letters of recommendation are requested and completed through the AwardSpring website. Please note that this may take additional time as hard copies or alternative letters of recommendation will not be accepted.

You will need to create a username and password for the application program, AwardSpring. This is different than your member account information and is NOT linked/tied to you WESTconsin Credit Union account in anyway. AwardSpring will be where you get notifications about the status of your application and any follow-up information if you are awarded a scholarship.

The WESTconsin Credit Union scholarship is a one year, one time scholarship for $1,000. This scholarship is only open to local high school seniors who are members of WESTconsin Credit Union.

1. Students must be a graduating high school senior.
2. Students must be a member of WESTconsin Credit Union. They must have their own account (Primary account holder) as of August 31 prior to their senior year.
3. Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 or higher on a 4-point scale.
4. Submit an application online via AwardSpring on or before March 1 at 11:59 p.m.

This application requires two letters of recommendation to be submitted along with the digital application.

We will notify the awardees school so the scholarship can be presented at their scholarship award ceremony. After all award ceremonies have taken place WESTconsin will announce all the awardees publicly.

Yes. Awardees are required to submit additional information such as a current photo of themselves and a signed media release form so the credit union can publish their achievement. Awardees will also need to submit information about their first semester of college in order to receive their scholarship check during spring semester. All communication about follow-up items will happen through AwardSpring and can be submitted through the students AwardSpring account as well.

WESTconsin requires information about the awardees first semester of college and proof that the student is enrolled in classes for the next semester. Once this information has been received WESTconsin will mail the awardee their scholarship check to their address listed on their AwardSpring account. This usually happens in February of the students first year of college.
